Senior Harrison Folk had another superb outing Thursday as Jesuit won Game 1 of its Area Round baseball series against Rowlett, 1-0.  Folk threw 7 innings and allowed no runs on just 3 hits; the complete game shutout was his 11^th win of the season.
 
Jesuit scored the game's only run in the top of the fourth when senior Darius Hill hit a sacrifice fly to score sophomore Mark Ready. The Rangers managed only five hits on the afternoon against Rowlett's Caleb Kiefer. Folk was extremely efficient on the hill for Jesuit; he threw just 73 pitches in 7 innings of work. The outing mirrors his five-inning complete game win in Round 1 vs. Mesquite.
 
Game 2 of the Area Round series will be played Friday at Jesuit's Wright Field, with the first pitch at 7:00 p.m. The game will be broadcast live at www.jesuitrangers.org/live and stats are available for all games using the free GameChanger app.
